"Get a move on, she's been waiting for you for over an hour," mummy urged loudly in the kitchen when I went across the sitting room towards the wing bedroom where I'd change. Seeing you seemingly waiting for something to happen hunched over a bulky installation of yours sitting on the low table, I cottoned on to what mummy was saying. You were waiting for me to come back so that you could flaunt the creation and contentedly contemplate my expression of amazement and admiration. I did take the hint. I marveled, with melodramatic looks and flamboyant gestures, at the beauty of your biggest masterpiece ever after I changed and came back to the sitting room.
我走过客厅，要去次卧换衣服。妈妈在厨房大声催促我，“快点儿，她已经等你一小时了。”此时你站在茶几旁，茶几上放着你的那个特别大的装置，确实似乎是你在等待着什么。听到妈妈的催促，我这才意识到她在说什么。你在等我回来，好向我炫耀你的作品，观赏我惊讶赞叹的表情会让你感到心满意足。我都明白了，于是换完衣服后回到客厅。无论是从表情上和还是从手势上，我都对你至今为止制作的最大杰作表示了由衷的热情洋溢的赞叹。
