5月8日是世界微笑日（World Smile Day）
今天，你微笑了吗？
1948年，国际红十字会规定将国际红十字会创始人亨利·杜南的生日——5月8日设为世界红十字日，也就是“世界微笑日”。
世界精神卫生组织把这天订立为"世界微笑日"，希望通过微笑促进人类身心健康，同时在人与人之间传递愉悦与友善，增进社会和谐。世界微笑日也是唯一一个庆祝人类行为表情的节日。
世界微笑日在每年的5月8号庆祝。在这一天，人们不仅被鼓励要对别人微笑，还鼓励大家要善待别人。
World Smile Day is celebrated on May 8 every year. It is a day when people are encouraged to not only put a smile on fellow human beings, but also to treat others with kindness.
说起“微笑”，大家肯定都会想到一个单词：
smile
这个单词有名词和动词两种词性：
n. 微笑，笑容
v. 微笑，笑
smile 是一个概括性的表述（general term），可以表达各种心情愉悦的笑容。注意，它只表达面部表情（facial expression），不包括笑声（vocal expression）。
