今天又开始一部新剧啦！THE BOLD TYPE 《女子无畏》！女孩子们爱的时装杂志社的故事！看看这些女编辑们如何在公司里生存，如何去争取自己想要的东西，总之是很前卫，勇敢的女性！最重要的是他们的大Boss总编也是超有人格魅力！

be supposed to：应该，被期望做某事；

toil away: 长期劳累；埋头工作；辛苦劳作；

trench "美 [trɛntʃ]": n. 沟，沟渠；战壕；堑壕，这里的assistant trench就指的是她们三个好朋友都是杂志社的助理，都是在一个战壕里的并肩战斗的战友。
board: a group of people in a company or other organization who make the rules and important decisions 理事会，委员会，董事会；
"But I'm on the board of After-School Achievers" （但我是课外活动家项目组理事会成员）----美剧《新飞跃比弗利》
cool: used to say that you agree with something, that you understand it, or that it does not annoy you 没问题，能接受，还好，这里的剧情是三个好朋友一开始都是助理，但是其中一个升职了，所以在董事会上有座位坐，她又不好意思丢下两个好朋友去坐，于是两个好朋友说没关系，去吧，就是it's cool.
"Mom said it was cool, if it's cool with you." （妈妈说只要你觉得没问题就可以）----美剧
"Lost an ounce, but it's cool." （损失了一盎司，但还好）----美剧《绝命毒师》
