既 to 又 ing
(1) remember to do sth.记住去做某事,表示这件事情还没有做Remember to buy me some apples when you go to the supermarket.你去超市时记得给我买些苹果。
remember doing sth. 记得做过某事I remember watering the flowers when I went out in the morning.我记得早上出去的时候给花浇了水。
(2) forget to do sth.忘记要去做某事。(未做)I almost forgot to go to the post office.我几乎忘了去邮局。
forget doing sth. 忘记做过某事。(已做)I forget that I have been to the post office.我忘了我去过邮局了。
Have you forgotten that you have watered the flowers?你忘了你已经浇过花了吗?
I forgot finishing my homework.我忘了完成作业了。
(3) regret to do sth.遗憾地（要）做某事 （还未做呢）l will regret to be very busy today and I can't go to the library with you. 我很遗憾今天太忙，我不能和你一起去图书馆。
regret doing sth. 后悔做过某事(已经做过了）I regretted doing something that made my mother unhappy yesterday. 我后悔昨天做了一件让我妈妈不高兴的事。
(4) try to do sth. 努力做谋事,尽力做某事，但不一定成功As a middle school student, we should try our best to learn the knowledge well. 作为一名中学生，我们应该尽力学好这些知识。
try doing sth. 试图做谋事My sister stood on the stool to try getting the book on the shelf. 我妹妹站在凳子上试图把书拿到架子上。
(5) stop to do 表示停止现在在做的事情，开始做另外一件事情The workers stopped to have a rest on the ground for a while. 工人们停下来在地上休息了一会儿。
stop doing 表示停止现在在做的事情The workers stopped logging. They sat on the ground and had a rest. 工人们停止伐木。他们坐在地上休息。
(5) mean to do sth. 计划做某事My father is meaning to go for a trip to Australia. 我父亲打算去澳大利亚旅行。
mean doing sth. 意味着做某事His mother's words meant giving up learning to dance. 他母亲的话意味着放弃学习跳舞。
(6) can’t help to do sth. 不能协助做某事I can't help you to copy your homework.
我不能帮你抄作业。
can’t help doing sth. 禁不住做某事The children couldn't help laughing at the teacher's joke. 孩子们听了老师的笑话忍不住笑了起来。
(7) go on to do sth. 做了一件事后,接着做另一件事Mother put down her housework and went on to talk to the teacher. 母亲放下她的家务活，继续和老师谈话。
go on doing sth. 继续做原来做的事Mother took a rest and went on doing housework . 妈妈休息了一会儿，继续做了家务活。
